Chryso India Joins Hands With Habitat For Humanity India To Provide Housing Solutions For Tribal Families In Karjat

Chryso India – the technology leader in admixtures for construction materials – has partnered with Habitat for Humanity India to build homes for tribal families in Karjat (Raigad district, Maharahstra). Under the partnership, Chryso India will support Habitat India to build 13 homes and provide water wheels to 131 families. On 9th December 2018, 40 employees of Chryso India volunteered on a ‘Habitat for Humanity Build’ and contributed towards building a home for future homeowner Kavita Chimte. The ‘build’ saw bricklaying, building of walls and painting by the volunteers in partnership with Habitat India.

The ‘build’ is also part of Habitat’s annual youth campaign – Habitat Young Leaders Build that brings together youth across the country to support families in need of decent housing. In Habitat Young Leaders Build, young people volunteer and speak out for the need for decent homes as a way out of poverty and toward self-sustainability.
